Why writing a will is important 

A Will is one of the most important things you can put in place for your loved ones. It can help ensure the financial and emotional security of your family if you were to pass away.

With a Will, you can help family life to carry on as you would like it to when you’re no longer there. If you have children, you can be clear about who you want to care for them and you can also make your wishes clear about how their inheritance should be managed if they’re not old enough to look after it themselves.

Having a Will in place will also allow you to decide what happens to your assets, like your home and any money you have, when you pass away. As well as that, it’s a way of you setting out what your final wishes are. For example, if you want to be cremated rather than buried, you can include that in your Will so that your wishes are clear.
